Doing Business 2012 shows that governments in 125 economies out of 183 measured implemented a total of 245 business regulatory reforms—13 percent more reforms than in the previous year. Doing Business in Indonesia 2012

Doing Business in Indonesia 2012 is the second in a series analyzing business regulations from the perspective of a small to midsize domestic firm in Indonesian cities. Six cities were added this year, bringing the total to 20. Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Bandung and Jakarta continue to lead in the areas included in the report—starting a business, dealing with construction permits and registering property.

Doing Business in the East African Community 2011 is the second in a series of reports comparing business regulations across five economies in the region: Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The report finds that East Africa could benefit from sharing good practices in business regulation. It also notes that all East African Community economies made it easier to do business in the past 5 years.
