- Doing Business in Indonesia 2010: The report compares business regulations across 14 Indonesian cities, focusing on local and national regulations that affect 3 stages in the life of a small to midsize domestic firm: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, and registering property. Indonesia’s first subnational report goes beyond Jakarta to compare cities within Indonesia and identify opportunities for collaboration between national and local governments to cut red tape and reduce the cost of doing business. - Doing Business in Kenya: The first subnational report on Kenya compares business regulation across 11 Kenyan localities in four areas: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property and enforcing contracts. The report suggests that localities in Kenya can learn from each other and adopt good practices within the country. If a hypothetical city, "Kenyana", were to adopt the best practices, it would rank 78th among the 183 economies measured in the global Doing Business report, 17 places better than Kenya’s current global rank.
