- Doing Business in Veneto: The first report to examine the performance of the city of Padua based on the Doing Business indicators. The Doing Business in Veneto 2009 compares the regulatory environment of the city to Rome and 180 other economies globally. The report ranks Padua at 67, ahead of Rome which ranks 68. - Doing Business in Mexico: The third subnational report in the country compares business regulations across 31 Mexican cities in four key areas: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property and enforcing contracts. These indicators cover areas of local jurisdiction or practice. Doing Business in Mexico 2009 shows that differences in implementation of national-level regulations and local practices can enhance or constrain business activity across the cities.
