The Guichet Unique de formalité des Entreprises (GUFE) has representatives from the different services, allowing for:
1)Registration at the Commercial Registry (Tribunal),
2)Obtaining the Tax Identification Number (NIF)
3)Registration (mandatory) with the Chamber of Commerce
4) Enrolling employees for social security at the Regional Labor Ministry

The sworn declaration (declaration surt l'honneur) is completed at the GUFE. The entrepreneur will need to send a copy of her/his criminal record within 75 days. The record is issued directly by the National Tribunal.
