BuildCo files an application for approval, with plans included, with the Town and Country Planning Board of the Planning and Building Department, which will review it for structure, environment, health, sewer, and fire regulations. The formula for the cost was updated in 2009 (0.5% of construction cost + SBD 250 (Planning Fee) + SBD 150 (Site Inspection)+ SBD 500( Excavation permit ) + SBD 200 ( Issue of permit )).
