Doing Business in Kenya

Doing Business in Kenya: The first subnational report on Kenya compares business regulation across 11 Kenyan localities in four areas: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property and enforcing contracts. The report suggests that the localities can learn from each other and adopt good practices within the country. If a hypothetical city, "Kenyana", were to adopt the best practices, it would rank 78th among the 183 economies measured in the global Doing Business report, 17 places better than Kenya’s current global rank.
