DB 2011:


Positive Starting a Business: Eliminated the need to notarize the business permit application form
Positive Registering Property: The fee for notarizing the deed of sale for property registration was reduced to 1% of property value.

Cebu City

DB 2011:


Positive Starting a Business: Makes use of the National Economic Research and Business Action Center (NERBAC) of the Department of Trade and Industry, resulting in reduced registration requirements. It has also established one-time assessment and payment of fees for business registration.
Positive Dealing with Construction Permits: The Visayan Electric Company started to refund the cost of electricity connection within a year from service connection.
Positive Registering Property: The Register of Deeds in Cebu City has completed the computerization project of the Land Registration Authority, reducing the number of days to register property.

Davao City

DB 2011:


Positive Starting a Business: Streamlined business registration by eliminating several documentary requirements, instituting one-time assessment of all fees at the City Treasurer’s Office, and enabling applicants to download the business application form from the city website.
Positive Dealing with Construction Permits: Eliminated the barangay clearance and certified true copy of land title as pre-construction requirements for building permit applications. The Davao Light and Power Company started to refund the cost of electricity connection within a year from service connection.

Malabon
